Dog Painting

This painting is 8×8 acrylic on paper. It was painted quickly with the idea of loosening up to get back in the swing of painting.Image

Begin with play

I’ve done a lot of dog portrait commissions in the past and they have been reasonably realistic. This is a painting I had fun with today, painted from an old photo, and painted with a sense of play. I will do more of these because it was so freeing. After being away from painting, there is a bit of reluctance to begin. What to paint and other questions arise. I figure play is a good way to begin.Image

40 'fore Forty

I'm on a life changing journey to 40. There will be ups, there will be downs. I'm like a roller coaster but with more agoraphobia.
